The Western Aphasia Battery–Revised (WAB–R) is the updated version of the highly respected and widely used instrument for assessing adult patients with aphasia. It is an individually administered assessment for adults with acquired neurological disorders (e.g., as a result of stroke, head injury, dementia). Like the previous edition, WAB–R assesses the linguistic skills most frequently affected by aphasia, in addition to key non-linguistic skills, and provides differential diagnosis information.

Inside the session: Training on administration, scoring, and interpretation of WAB-R & its various application along with case studies and video demonstrations.

Trainer: Ms. Greeshma Gautamaditya

Greeshma Gautamaditya is a speech-language pathologist with a decade of experience working with children and adults limited by various disorders of communication. In addition to her private practice, she has developed the WAB-R training module for Pearson. Greeshma is certified by Hanen for ‘It Takes Two to Talk’ program, a certified ‘Lidcombe Program’ practitioner and TalkTools certified (Level 1) oral placement therapist. She completed her Bachelors and Masters from All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysore.
