About the Trainer:
Ms. Sandhya Shivakumar
M.Phil, PhD (Pursuing)

Sandhya Shivakumar is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist practicing at Mint Hospital, Adyar Chennai. She has completed her M.Phil in Clinical Psychology, prior to which she has also done double masters- from King’s College London and Women’s Christian College Chennai. She is currently pursuing PhD in the area of children’s mental focusing on the effect on gadget use on behaviour problems. With a work experience of 5 years, she has been actively engaged in research as well clinical practice. Her primary areas of interest include child mental health, parenting, and working with adults having depression, anxiety and relationship issues. She has completed foundational courses on cbt, ACT and Trauma focused therapy and also read extensively for continually updating herself in various therapeutic approaches. She is also associated with Pearson India as a consultant trainer.
