We are proud to carry forward the legacy of the Psychological Corporation with our Psychcorp brand of assessments. Our mission is to promote learning that helps transform personal, educational and professional lives of individuals. We are committed to develop assessments adapted and standardized for India so that our assessments result in valid clinical judgments leading to better interventions. Our R&D, based out of Banglaore, has already adapted and standardized gold standard assessments such as the Wecshler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC) and Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) for India, besides important assessment solutions for schools such as Dyslexia Screening Test – Junior (DST-J) and Raven’s Educational – CPM/CVS.

Pearson Guarantee of Quality – We are aware that there are many publications in use that have been heavily derived from our products. We would like to make users aware that these derivations may offer an inferior product which lacks the depth of quality that only careful development and revision over time can bring. Test development is an expensive and time-consuming process. The characteristics of effective and reliable tests cannot be acquired by short-cut methods.  In addition, such derivations involve substantial violations of copyright which leave both users and developers open to prosecution. If you are offered products from another source which either claim an association with Pearson Clinical and Talent Assessment or obviously imitate one of our products, please contact us.

Meet our Research & Development Team

Our team of professionals in R & D work towards fulfilling Pearson’s commitment to adapt and standardize our flagship assessments for India. Our adaptation and standardization work is expansive, cost-intensive, covers all major regions of India and involves a large number of professionals such as psychologists, statisticians, research assistants and field examiners. Adhering to the highest standards of test adaptation that is implemented globally, PCTA in India has so far adapted and/or standardized five global assessments – WISC-IV, WAIS-IV, WMS-III, Raven’s CPM/CVS and DST-J, for India. Based on feedback from mental-health and school professionals in this country, PCTA has initiated or will initiate adaptation and standardization work for more assessments that will serve the professional needs of individuals and institutions in health care.
